Limited Warranty Coverage

We proudly offer a 1-year limited warranty on all crate engines sold by Crate Engines Australia. This warranty provides coverage against defects in materials and workmanship, offering you protection and assurance in your purchase.

Warranty Period

The warranty period begins from the date of confirmed delivery of the crate engine to the customer. This 1-year warranty period ensures that you have ample time to assess the performance and reliability of your engine under normal operating conditions.

What Is Covered

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship found in the crate engine during the warranty period. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Manufacturing defects in the engine block, cylinder heads, pistons, camshaft, and other internal components.
  • Premature failure or malfunction of critical engine components.
  • Engine performance issues caused by defective parts or workmanship.

What Is Not Covered

While our warranty provides comprehensive coverage, there are certain exclusions and limitations to be aware of. The following items are not covered under the warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear from regular use, including engine consumables such as filters, belts, and spark plugs.
  • Damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Engine damage caused by improper maintenance, lack of lubrication, or overheating.
  • Incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to towing, rental car expenses, or loss of income.

Submitting a Warranty Claim

If you believe your crate engine is experiencing a defect covered by the warranty, we encourage you to contact our customer service team promptly. To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

Exclusions and Limitations

It’s important to note that our warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the crate engine. Additionally, any modifications or alterations made to the engine without prior authorization from Crate Engines Australia will void the warranty.
