Is this Hilux / HiAce engine new or reconditioned?
It is a brand-new long block, not a used or reconditioned motor. No exchange is required, so you keep your old engine.
Does this engine include the sump, oil pickup and oil pan?
No. The aluminium sump, oil pickup and oil pan are not included. Transfer the correct components from your original motor after inspection, or ask our team about purchasing them separately. The Hilux and HiAce installation uses its vehicle-specific sump and pickup. Your mechanic also transfers the required coil packs, alternator, brackets, intake and exhaust manifolds and other accessories.
How do I watch my engine’s hot-test video?
Scan the QR code on your petrol engine’s rocker cover with your phone to access its hot-test video. The video shows that motor running before dispatch. The required accessory transfer, installation checks and run-in procedures still need to be completed by your installer.
