Brand New Toyota Hilux/Hiace Diesel Engine suitable for all 3.0L 4 Cylinder Diesel Models (with Manual Injection Pump) (1996-2004). Specifically, the engine number that should be matched up is the 5L. The O.E.M manufacture 5L is known for developing Piston ‘Cracking’ Issues, and Excessive Oil Burning when under-serviced/improperly driven. These Brand New Long Blocks are perfect for the buyer that wishes to return there once reliable Toyota to its early low kilometre performance without risking buying second hand ‘wreckers’ motors. Buyers will need to transfer accessories and components like the Timing Chain and Gears, Alternator, Brackets , Intake and Exhaust Manifolds etc etc from their old Engine to the New Engine. Note that this engine DOES NOT include the Rocker Cover or Oil Pan (These components are removed from the Old Motor).
