This Cummins 6BT excavator engine is not a universal drop-in replacement. Send the excavator make, model and build year, plus clear engine-plate photographs showing the engine serial number and CPL (Control Parts List), where available.

For an installer planning to transfer compatible external equipment from the original excavator engine.
- Brand new block, cylinder head and internal engine assembly, with supplied components confirmed on your order.
- Transfer compatible fuel equipment, turbocharger, manifolds and accessories as required.
- No separate horsepower selection is required for the long-block option.
Option 02 / Complete engine supply
180 HP or 220 HP complete assembly
Choose Complete Assembly, then select the required horsepower. The engine-mounted equipment and exact excavator configuration are confirmed on the written order.
- Check the injection equipment, turbocharger, starter and alternator supplied.
- Match sump, mounts, flywheel housing and hydraulic pump coupling.
- Machine hydraulic pumps, radiator, exhaust and other installation parts are not automatically included.
Live stock status and pricing are shown in the selector above. All options are brand new engine supply, with no core exchange, free standard Australian freight and a one-year product warranty under our published terms.
Keep the original engine until your installer has checked which application-specific components need to be transferred. The written supply specification takes precedence over illustrative material.

Have your installer check valve clearances and follow the engine-specific fitting, priming, commissioning and run-in requirements. Retain installation and service records.

Easy returns
7 days to arrange your return.
Contact us within 7 calendar days of confirmed delivery for an eligible non-warranty return. The engine must be unused, uninstalled and unaltered, with its original packaging intact.
The restocking fee applies to the engine purchase price. You pay return freight, and original shipping costs are deducted from the refund. Returns are inspected before refund approval. Warranty claims follow the separate warranty process.

Yes. Both the long block and complete assembly are brand new engine supply. Confirm the exact components included on your written order.
Will this fit every excavator with a 6BT engine?
No. Match the excavator model, engine serial number, CPL, rated speed, mounts, sump, flywheel housing and hydraulic pump drive. Contact our team before ordering if any details are uncertain.
Which horsepower options are available?
The complete 6BT excavator motor has 180 HP and 220 HP choices. Select Complete Assembly to see the horsepower options and current availability. Long blocks do not require a separate horsepower selection.
How do I check stock?
Choose an engine package to see its live availability. Out-of-stock complete-engine options are clearly marked. Contact our Australian team for replenishment timing; do not book installation until supply is confirmed.
What is included with the complete assembly?
The complete engine includes the engine-mounted equipment specified on your order. Confirm the injection equipment, turbocharger, starter, alternator, flywheel housing and application-specific ancillaries. A machine hydraulic pump or radiator is not assumed included.
Do I need to return my old engine?
No core exchange is required. Keep the original engine until your installer has checked all components needed for the excavator installation.
What else should I budget for?
Workshop labour, fluids, filters, commissioning and any application-specific installation parts are separate. Request an itemised fitting quote. Standard Australian engine freight is included under our shipping terms.
What warranty is included?
A one-year product warranty is included, subject to the full warranty policy. Professional installation and correct run-in are required. Installation labour is not covered.
