Contact us within 7 calendar days of confirmed delivery for an eligible non-warranty return. The engine must be unused, uninstalled and unaltered, with its original packaging intact.
The restocking fee applies to the engine purchase price. You pay return freight, and original shipping costs are deducted from the refund. Returns are inspected before refund approval. Warranty claims follow the separate warranty process.

Which G4NC series should I select?
Choose Series 1 for the applications marked Series 1 in the fitment table. Series 2 is for the listed Hyundai i30 PD GDI 2017–2023. For a 2017 i30, match GD or PD as well as the engine code; contact us with your VIN if you need help.
Which vehicles use this G4NC engine?
The established applications are Hyundai i30 GD and PD GDI, i40 VF, ix35 LM and Tucson TL GDI, plus Kia Cerato YD and Sportage SL. See the table for each model’s years and series. This page is for the G4NC 2.0L petrol engine.
Is this a new or reconditioned G4NC engine?
This is a brand new G4NC petrol long motor. It is not a used engine or a reconditioned core. Compare the supplied assembly, warranty and installation requirements when considering replacement options.
Which parts transfer from the original engine?
Your installer transfers the high-pressure fuel pump, intake and exhaust manifolds and the other required vehicle-specific accessories after inspecting their condition. Budget separately for labour, fluids, filters and any parts that cannot be reused.
Can I replace a G4NA or G4KD simply because it is also 2.0 litres?
Match the original engine code and application. G4NC, G4NA and G4KD are different engine codes; capacity alone is not a fitment check. If your engine code differs, ask us for the corresponding listing.
What is the total G4NC engine replacement cost?
The current engine price appears above, with free standard Australian delivery. Workshop labour, fluids, filters and any additional replacement parts are separate. Ask your installer for an itemised quote and see our replacement cost guide.
Do I need to return my old G4NC engine?
No core exchange is required. Keep the original motor until your installer has checked and transferred the necessary accessories.
How can I see my individual motor running?
Our bare motors have a QR code on the rocker cover linked to that individual motor’s hot-test video. The model overview on this page is separate from your engine’s individual running check.
