Is this HiAce / Hilux engine new or reconditioned?
It is a brand-new long block, not a used or reconditioned motor. No exchange is required, so you keep your old engine.
What is supplied and what needs transferring?
The assembled long block includes the cylinder head, block, crankshaft, pistons, rods and camshaft assembly. Your mechanic transfers the required manifolds, sensors, wiring, alternator, starter motor, fuel-system components and other bolt-on accessories after inspection. Scan the QR code on your petrol engine’s rocker cover with your phone to access its hot-test video. The video shows that motor running before dispatch. The required accessory transfer, installation checks and run-in procedures still need to be completed by your installer.
