Keep your old engine until the workshop has completed the component transfer.
Parts your installer transfers
Your suitable high-pressure fuel pump, intake and exhaust manifolds, sensors and other bolt-on components transfer from the original engine. The turbocharger is not included in the long-block offer.
Have the workshop inspect reused parts and include the required fitting gaskets, seals, fluids, filters and labour in its quote.

Turbo & oil circuit
Inspect the turbocharger and its oil supply and return. If the old engine or turbo failed, assess contamination before reusing connected parts.
Intake & ignition
Check the intake and intercooler for oil or debris after a failure. Use the specified spark plugs and inspect the ignition system as part of the fitting plan.
Cooling & maintenance
Resolve cooling and lubrication faults, follow professional installation and run-in requirements, and retain fitting and service records.
Oil consumption, misfires or timing-chain noise?
These symptoms need diagnosis rather than a single assumed cause. Ask your mechanic to assess the engine, turbocharger and relevant supporting systems before deciding which parts need replacement. A new long block will not repair a faulty component transferred onto it.

Contact us within 7 calendar days of confirmed delivery for an eligible non-warranty return. The engine must be unused, uninstalled and unaltered, with its original packaging intact.
The restocking fee applies to the engine purchase price. You pay return freight, and original shipping costs are deducted from the refund. Returns are inspected before refund approval. Warranty claims follow the separate warranty process.

It is a brand new assembled long block, not a used or reconditioned engine. No exchange core is required.

Does the engine include a turbocharger?
No. This is the long-block offer for the turbocharged G4FJ application. The turbocharger and suitable bolt-on components transfer from your original engine after inspection.
What needs transferring from my old engine?
The high-pressure fuel pump, intake and exhaust manifolds, sensors and suitable accessories. Your installer should organise the fitting parts and check the condition of everything being reused.
Can I watch my engine’s hot-test video?
Scan the supplied engine QR code to access its individual hot-test video. Our published warranty information notes that video availability can vary by configuration. The warehouse video here is a separate view of our business and stock.
Should the turbo be checked before fitting?
Yes. Have the workshop inspect the turbo, its oil circuit and the intake system, especially after an engine or turbo failure. Resolve contamination and the original fault before the new engine runs.
Does Australian delivery cost extra?
Standard Australian delivery and transit insurance are included. Express freight is available at checkout. See the delivery section for published estimates.
Can I return an unused engine?
Contact us within seven calendar days of confirmed delivery. Eligible non-warranty returns must be unused, uninstalled and unaltered in intact original packaging. A 10% restocking fee and applicable freight deductions apply under the returns policy.
