Mitsubishi Crate Engines – Reliable, Affordable, Ready to Install
Looking for Mitsubishi Crate Engines that are durable, expertly built, and backed by local support? Crate Engines Australia offers high-quality crate engines to suit popular Mitsubishi models, including Triton, Pajero, Express Van, Lancer, Magna, and Outlander. Whether you’re replacing a tired workhorse engine or upgrading from a worn-out original, our crate motors are the smart alternative to used or patched-together rebuilds.
Built to Last – Upgraded Internals and Precision Assembly
Our Mitsubishi crate engines are assembled in Australia using high-grade materials and strengthened components where needed. We don’t just rebuild — we upgrade. That means adding Centra Steel Crankshafts, reinforced pistons, and heavy-duty bearings to help eliminate known factory faults and boost engine longevity under real-world Aussie conditions.
We specialise in both petrol and diesel crate engines to suit:
-
4G64 2.4L Petrol – Common in Triton, Pajero, and Express Van from 1998–2020
-
4D56 2.5L Turbo Diesel – Found in many Triton and Pajero models
-
4M41 3.2L Turbo Diesel – Used in late-model Pajero and Delica
-
4G93 and 4G94 Petrol – For Lancer and Magna applications
-
4B11 and 4B12 Petrol – Found in later-model Outlander and Lancer
-
6G74 V6 3.5L Petrol – For Pajero and Magna Executive
Each engine is supplied as a long block (sump to rocker cover), ready for bolt-on accessories such as manifolds, alternators, sensors, and more.
The Crate Engine Advantage
Instead of gambling on a second-hand engine with unknown history, a crate engine gives you the reliability of new internal components and professional assembly. There’s no disassembly, no guesswork, and no wasted time — just a high-quality engine that’s ready for install.
Our Mitsubishi Crate Engines are ideal for tradies, DIY owners working with licensed mechanics, and fleet managers needing dependable replacements that will last the distance.
Warranty Coverage and Install Requirements
Every engine comes with a 1-year warranty, with an optional extension available at checkout. We also offer a Labour Warranty to cover the cost of removing and reinstalling the engine if a genuine fault occurs due to internal failure.
To activate and maintain warranty coverage, the engine must be installed by a licensed mechanic, and documentation must be retained in the event of a claim. This ensures cooling systems are properly bled, thermostats and sensors are working, and all external components are correctly fitted. All engines are fitted with heat tabs to help monitor any overheating events that would void coverage.
We’re here to support you — but the correct installation process must be followed to protect your investment.
Nationwide Shipping – Fast, Safe and Reliable
We deliver crate engines all across Australia, from major cities to rural towns. Most deliveries arrive within 5–10 business days, and we offer express shipping for urgent jobs. All engines are palletised, securely wrapped, and shipped with full tracking so you’re never left wondering where your order is.
We also understand that downtime is costly — so we work quickly to dispatch engines with minimal delay. If you need help coordinating delivery to a workshop or business address, our team is ready to assist.
Designed for Aussie Roads and Workloads
Mitsubishi engines are trusted for their strength and reliability — and we’ve taken them a step further. Our Mitsubishi Crate Engines are built to handle Australia’s toughest environments, whether that’s towing in summer heat, remote off-road touring, or stop-start urban driving.
We’ve addressed common failure points such as early head gasket leaks, piston ring issues, and oil consumption problems by upgrading components during the rebuild process. That means less maintenance, less downtime, and greater peace of mind for the long haul.
